“I have always wanted to go to D.C. when I was a little girl and never got to. I’ve always been fascinated by the nation’s capital. Once I discovered Marymount and went to the overnight program I completely loved everything about it. We went to two classes and listened in on the lectures. They didn’t make us feel like a guest, I already felt like part of the community. That was four years ago, now it  feels like my second home.”
