On September 30th, Dr. William Bisset announced a change in Marymount’s Housing Policy, requiring all students not staying with relatives to live in on-campus housing as of Fall 2022.
Immediately, there was a strong negative response from students. An image advertising a demonstration on Ireton Lawn was circulated on Social Media.
A group of students were gathered on the lawn, and Susan Boyd, Associate Vice President for Student Living and Engagement, came to hear their concerns.
